Zupa i Chleb

That’s "soup and bread" to you!  I know it doesn’t sound so exciting, but frankly neither did the prospect of having all the food for the week come out of the same kitchen.  But the restaurant at the hotel we’ve been staying at, Palac Zakow, has been doing a great job on the food quality and variety.  Hearty local breads and traditional Polish soups have been featured heavily, with favorites being a cucumber soup and a cold beet yogurt soup with dill.  


One of our local guides has promised to get some recipes from her mom, so be on the look out for traditional Polish soups at a Kienzle-catered dinner near you!
