Props to Karen for keeping the blog afloat! It may or not be clear to y’all who the author of each post is, but it’s been all her for the past few days. What to blame my lack of blog-ular productivity on? I’ll blame it on the Pivo!
The shop across from our cozy country inn stocks many a wonderful Polish beer--maybe a dozen varieties--all sporting exotic labels never before seen by me, and generally nary a word of english. Successful strategy so far has been to pick the coolest label that doesn’t contain a picture of fruit and just dive in. Most have been tasty low alcohol lagers or Pilsners. Favorite label goes to the Tatra on the left, due to the picture of the rugged Indiana Jones-like fellow, but for flavor and drink-ability I’ve been favoring the Dawne.
