Old Town Tour

We started our first full day in Warsaw with a tour of Old Town. Most of the City was completely destroyed by the Nazis at the end of WWII, but this part was painstakingly renovated in the 1950s (so carefully that it is one of the only renovations that earned a UNESCO world heritage site designation). It’s fairy-take quaint, but also a little Disneyland-creepy. Indicative of some of the many contrasts here in Poland.
